17 Feb What’s Blooming in February?

In mid February we still have several more weeks of winter and yet buds are starting to swell and there are hints of life in the garden.  It was a great overcast day and perfect to head out side with my camera to capture some blooming plants in the garden.  Usually my designs rely on more winter interest in the way of evergreen structure and colors in the shrubs, twigs and foliage.  But here is a sampling of what’s in bloom in my garden in Mid-February.
